The YaegerPro is designed, built, and manufactured by SBSM, a business controlled by Marty J Yaeger, a 4th generation of the original Yaeger & Sons.  Marty was named after the original founder of Yaeger & Sons, Martin J. Yaeger, which began in 1902 as a blacksmith business specializing in horse shoeing in downtown Los Angeles. Yaeger & Sons evolved into the material handling equipment arena which then opened to door for camera assistants to ask for modifications to the Magliner brand they carried.

About 40 years ago, Marty S. Yaeger decided to set out to build an all self contained cart when he listen to the customers who complain about the Magliner being very difficult to travel with. 40 years later, the YaegerPro line is a reaction to additional changes in the industry.
